Why electricity saving devices are fake
Most electricity saving devices are fake and are intended only to cheat people. With the exception of the plugandsave power saving equipment, most of these use attractive languages to attract the customers and lure them into buying things like power saver, power factor reducer and so on. There are other equipments like intelligent computer panels. These devices go between the appliance and the power source. However, the truth is that most of these are fake. These sell simply because the consumer is unaware. They do not have the proper knowledge about electricity or fail to understand the technicalities. They are attractively offered to save thousands of watt hours per year. However, the monthly consumption is measured in kilowatt hours. So there is no significant saving to be made.
