Geek Speak - the Language of Love?
The first time I saw my future husband, he was talking to a friend in a coffee shop and speaking Greek.
As it turned out, it was actually Geek -not Greek. He was an IT major and prone to sprinkle his conversation with terms like, “terabytes”, “seo“, “html”, and “mbr”.
But I’m nothing if not determined. I actually went home and learned what some of those terms meant. The next time I saw him, I introduced myself and asked a question about my hard drive.
He was in Heaven. An hour of tech talk and two coffees later, we had a date….and the rest is history.
