Kansas City Worlds of Fun
Vacationers to Kansas City have plenty to choose from when it comes to attractions and things to see. One of the most visited attractions, especially for those who are vacationing with kids, is the Worlds of Fun / Oceans of Fun amusement park. Roller coaster lovers will have a blast at the park, which offers up a total of six coasters. You can ride the wooden Timber Wolf, which features a 95 ft drop, the 205 ft tall Mamba, and the shuttle roller coaster called Boomerang. Spinning Dragons, is a spinning roller coaster, while the Patriot is inverted. The Younger crowd can get in on the coaster fun as well with the Wacky Worm, located in Camp Snoopy. Of course, there are plenty of other rides in the park as well, including a log flume and a river rafting ride. Oceans of Fun, the water park, also has plenty of rides that are good fun, including 18 thrilling slides. The kids can have a great time in the Coconut Cove, and those over 21 can mingle in the Castaway Cove. You will also find that there are plenty of shows around the park to keep you entertained as well, including The Ultimate Canines Dog, Sport, and Comedy Show and live music.
