Uetliberg

We are taking a trip to Zurich, and would like to take the opportunity to go to the Uetliberg and see the view from the top. We like the idea of having a bit of a hike to break up the driving part of our vacation. However, we are not sure where we should stay while we are in Zurich. Can anyone recommend a good hotels in Zurich? We would like to stay somewhere besides a chain hotel, we want our hotels to be a bit unique whenever possible. I would appreciate any advice on where to stay, as well as attractions we should be sure not to miss while we are there.
