Ancient Greek Spartan Helmets
If you are looking purchase a Spartan or Greek helmet for Halloween or Christmas, then it’s best to know the different types of these helmets. As soon as you starting looking around you’ll notice a whole slew of Spartan helmets that are varied. First, some may have plumes a others may not. If it does have a plume, then the colors can be red, tan, or black.
It is important to note that if you are looking for the classic Spartan look, then the common foot soldiers did not have a plume on their helmet. Instead, they wore plain Greek helmets made out of bronze or iron. These retained the classic greek look with large cheek guards with intimidating eyes.
