What’s Going on This Summer?
What’s going on this summer in Wake County? Well, for starters, it’s almost the end of the school year for a lot of children, which will mean that a larger portion of the population will be on vacation. For children who are interested in sports, there are plenty of summer day camps as well as sleep-away camps that are geared towards sports. For example, each year the North Carolina State Cross Country team hosts a running camp out in the western part of North Carolina in the mountains. It’s a great opportunity for children to gain some experience meeting other children as well as getting an opportunity to learn new things. Summer camps can be extremely educational as well as beneficial for children. They are a great way to get your kids out there and socialize with other children as well as to expose them to all different types of life experiences that will help to shape who they will become in the future.
