New River Park, Beckley WV

The Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine at New River Park is an exciting and fun attraction visitors of all ages will enjoy. Above ground you can visit restored buildings that together recreate an authentic 20th century coal camp. There is also a terrific Youth Museum at New River Park that contains several exhibits presented in railroad boxcars. A recreated Appalachian frontier settlement is located on site, as is a Planetarium.
