A Teacher Misses Class Due to an Alcohol Problem
All of the students were shocked that Mr. Jefferies was not in class. After all, he hadn’t missed a class in at least ten years. The rumors started floating around that Mr. Jefferies had a drinking problem and had to go out-of-state for treatment. Another rumor had him getting rushed to the hospital because he suffered from an alcohol overdose. And the final rumor had him getting a DUI and having to go to jail. Obviously all of these rumors couldn’t be correct but the overall theme that rang loud and clear was that Mr. Jefferies was not in class due to an alcohol problem. Whatever the reason, the students would welcome him back with open arms because he was one of the best and best loved teachers in the school.
