lhd cars and the postal service
I live on a state road out in the country. The speed limit is 55, but people generally go five or more miles faster than that. Our house is on the left hand side if you’re coming from the north. My dad, coming home from work on the north side of town, used to drive up to the mailbox, roll down his window, and pick up the mail. It was like the postal service for non-postal-worker, lhd (left hand drive) cars. He did that until a cop saw him and gave him a warning, and a stern talking-to, not to put himself or other cars in danger again.
