It may seem silly to you, but it is not silly and even the slightest fashion or way when your water heater stops heating water. It makes all of those showers or baths and washing dishes and major hassle. It's why I eventually broke down and got myself two noritz tankless water heaters have in my home so that if one ever fails or stops working, the other one will pick up the slack.
